Men need to know God and His plan. We are living in the end times, and we must know God, be led by the Spirit of God, and know God’s plan concerning Israel and the end of the age.
As we continue going through the Torah this year, we have reached the middle Book of the Torah, and I believe the Holy Spirit is adding another dimension to our study: the reality of who we are in the Messiah.
In Ephesians, Paul writes, “Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12 that at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13 but now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19 who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. 20 But ye have not so learned Christ; 21 if so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 that ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” (2:11-13; 4:17-24 KJV)
As we study Leviticus, we see three central teachings: the priests, the sacrifices, and the feasts. Jesus is our great High Priest; He is the Lamb slain, and because Christ, our Passover Lamb, is sacrificed, we celebrate the feast.
Passover is a time of deliverance and salvation, and as we prepare to enter into this celebration on April 22-30, 2024, I am led to focus on healing and knowing who we are in Christ. This emphasis will not end at Passover but will propel us to Passover, and the revelation that we gain will carry us through the rest of this Hebrew decade, which has Passover at its core. Even though we celebrate Passover yearly, we should live in its reality every day, the reality of salvation, deliverance, and healing!
I have been reading Ephesians daily for a few weeks now and encourage you to do the same. This will help you build yourself up and better understand who you are and what belongs to you through salvation in Christ. If you need healing, a miracle, or strength in your body, read and pray healing Scriptures over yourself.
Proverbs 4:20-22 AMPC “My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh.”
When we walk with God and obey His Word, healing comes. You may be thinking of someone you know who wasn’t healed, or maybe you’re thinking that you have believed for a long time and have yet to see a change – faith isn’t an overnight thing. Abram received a promise yet waited years for its fulfillment. David was anointed King but didn’t immediately take the throne, and Jesus passed by the lame man who wasn’t healed until Acts chapter three.
We don’t know why some people don’t get healed, but that shouldn’t stop us or discourage us from believing for it. That said, just because someone says they are in faith doesn’t mean they are. We can say we are in faith but be like the man who said to Jesus, “Lord, I believe, but help my unbelief.”
Hebrews 11:1 AMPC “Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].”
During this preparation time and even through Passover to Pentecost, let’s endeavor to build up our faith in healing, health, and strength.
Over the next four and a half weeks, leading up to and during Passover, I will share various healing and strength Scriptures and thoughts from my daily Ephesians reading. I want to encourage you as we press towards Passover and believe to receive all God has for us.
I want to close by sharing some of my go-to Scriptures:
Psalm 103:1-5 KJV “Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
Isaiah 53 (read the chapter) v.4-5 AMPC “Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.”
Matthew 8:16-17 AMPC “When evening came, they brought to Him many who were under the power of demons, and He drove out the spirits with a word and restored to health all who were sick. 17 And thus He fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, He Himself took [in order to carry away] our weaknesses and infirmities and bore away our diseases.”
Psalm 27:1 KJV “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

*I also encourage you to read aloud healing Scriptures and take communion over them from now until Passover.
