Paying attention to Israel is not “newspaper eschatology.” Israel is God’s timepiece, the center of His world, and the Jewish people are the apple of His eye (Zech. 2:8). What nations do to Israel matters (see Judgment of the Nations for How They Treat Israel by Billye Brim).
News in the last five days:
- Withholding weapons and waiving sanctions (5/9).
- Biden Admin says Israel needs to find a diplomatic solution to end the war (9/14).
- Biden Admin denies withholding intelligence from Israel (9/14).
Prayer Points:
- Victory in the current war.
- Rescue of all hostages.
- That the Church in America would see God’s EVERLASTING COVENANT with Israel and throw off the curse of replacement and fulfillment theologies.
- That our love for our country would not cause us to become insensitive to God’s people.
- Christians around the world would have the boldness to stand with Israel and the Jewish people.
- To stand up in the face of antisemitism.
- Antisemitic protests on college campuses and in the streets would be stopped.
